NY Meeting #2 (13 Nov. 2024)

Last week, we held our second meeting. Again, we had a lovely time getting to know our new members and talked about key issues such as safety, mentorship, and community. 

Here are some key takeaways:

• We will do less lunches for the time being and focus more on after-work meetings and group Zooms.
• The rest of 2024 will likely be consumed by getting 501(c)6 status. We will have one in-person London meeting and one universal town hall (on Zoom) by year-end. 2025 is when the big stuff will happen...
• Too many female journalists have too many horror stories. We have a lot of work to do!
